Since 1998, Hotel Dom has collaborated with the Open Art Museum for Swiss Naïve Art and Art Brut. The result of this unique partnership: Paintings and sculptures from the museum's collection impressively adorn the premises of the hotel.

A thematically developed art concept came about as part of the renovation in 2010. This concept divides the hotel into various areas in terms of space and content. The themes are "colour & form", "people & animals", "typographical design" and "architecture - experienced space", and they range from far ranging "visions & cosmologies" to the promising, mysterious "paradise".

Each area is an autonomous unit. The names of the hallways correspond to the themes and makes it easier for guests and the staff to find their way about the hotel. Specific image ideas, inspiring motifs and formal artistic implementations arouse the curiosity of our guests. In addition, quotes invite people to think about art.
